Zeeshan Diwan is an Advocate on Record at the Supreme Court of India with more than ten years of experience at the bar. He co-founded D&M in 2018 with the aim to provide the highest standards of legal counsel to clients from all strata of society. Zeeshan's focus has been on counsel practice, arguing before the Supreme Court of India as an AoR and before the High Courts. His core practice includes criminal appellate side matters, civil original and appellate side, criminal trials, writ petitions ensuring constitutional and fundamental rights are upheld and PILs. His aim was to make a law firm founded on the core idea that dispute resolution can be quick and effective if the counsel provided is efficient and aimed at resolution.

Krishna Datta Multani brings over a decade of experience in litigation and dispute resolution. His education at UCL London, combined with extensive courtroom practice at the highest levels, enables him to approach complex matters with both doctrinal depth and practical insight.

  • Over ten years of litigation experience before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, Trial Courts, and quasi-judicial authorities across India.
  • Core expertise in commercial disputes and criminal/white-collar defence, including investigations and trials conducted by India's leading investigative agencies (CBI, ED, and others).
  • Proven track record in securing bail and developing defence strategies in significant matters, including those arising from the IRCTC corruption scam, Commonwealth Games scam, 2G Spectrum case, PNB Fraud case, Coal Scam, and Swiss Bank Black Money tax evasion matters.
  • Successfully obtained orders quashing FIRs and criminal proceedings, including an ECIR registered by the ED in a matter involving attachment of assets of approximately ₹118 crores by the Delhi High Court.

We are selective in our growth and look for individuals who combine intellectual rigour with genuine commitment to the practice of law. We offer an environment where you will be engaged in substantive work from the outset.

Internship Programme

D&M offers internship positions to law students who wish to gain meaningful exposure to litigation at the highest levels, including drafting, research, and court work. Internships are typically for a period of four to eight weeks.

We look for:

  • Students enrolled in five-year LLB or three-year LLB programmes at recognised law schools.
  • Strong academic record and demonstrable interest in litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Ability to research, draft clearly, and work under pressure in a professional environment.
  • Minimum third year of law school (preferred).

Interns will be paid a stipend if found to be dedicated and hardworking. A certificate of completion is provided. Candidates must arrange their own accommodation in Delhi.

Associate Positions

We periodically invite applications from advocates with demonstrated experience in litigation, arbitration, or corporate law. We value depth over breadth — associates who join D&M are expected to develop real expertise in the firm's core practice areas.

We look for:

  • Enrolled advocate with a minimum of one to two years of post-enrolment practice (preferred).
  • Experience in litigation before High Courts or Tribunals, or in arbitration matters.
  • Strong drafting skills and the ability to handle independent research.
  • Interest in at least one of the firm's core practice areas: commercial litigation, criminal defence, arbitration, or insolvency.
  • LLM from a reputed institution considered a plus but not a requirement.
